Applying to med 2026

Hi! I am looking to apply for medicine this year, I do chem, bio, psychology and an EPQ which I’m predicted A*s for and I got 99999998 in GCSE, so academics are good.
I just got 2060 B2 in my UCAT which was lower than I hoped but just looking for unis that I can still get into.
I may be able to apply for contextual but not for all unis as they have different criteria.
I just wanted to get some advice on good med unis that have good societies and social stuff as well as not hours away from Cambridge area.
Also I was originally hoping to apply for Bristol but my ucat will be too low for that now, is UCL still an optimistic option or is that just wasting an option with my ucat?
Any advice would be appreciated as I’m not really sure where the best unis are and need to decide soon!
At the moment I am looking at UCL, Exeter, Leicester, Cardiff and Bristol for biomed as a 5th option.
Thankyou

On paper, Exeter, Leicester and Cardiff will all have you. Prep for the interviews. Ur academics are outstanding, but UCL might be a reach with ur UCAT (which is still very good). With your overall scores, you're sure to get a seat somewhere.
