Can I get into RVC with a B in chemistry

(Reposting because I really need to know!)

Hello, I want to quickly ask before I try to retake. I am trying to apply to the RVC 2026 entry for veterinary medicine. I achieved A*AB in my A-levels (psychology, biology and chemistry)
As they require an A in chemistry I was planning on retaking and applying with a predicted grade instead, however most people l've spoken to have told me l'd probably be okay getting an interview with my B in chemistry. Does anyone have any insight on this? I don't want to put myself at a major disadvantage for not retaking but I also don't want to unnecessarily retake if I'd be okay with a B
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to know this too. Chem is my weakest A level and there’s a chance I could get a B.

I would worry that you'd both be facing disappointment since they state an A is required. Are either of you eligible for a Contextual offer? The details are on their entry requirements page.

I agree with what you’re saying so I think I’ll just retake, don’t want to risk it just in case!
