She received all her 4 offers from Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester all for dental surgery and chose Leeds over the rest for its course programme (eventually decided not PBL), the last and final year at Leeds where dental surgery offered 3 degrees, MChd, BChd and BSc for Oral Science over 5 years(after 2024, Leeds only offered the BChd), dental hospital in the same Worsley building(same as Birmingham and Manchester but not Bristol), nice city campus and a vibrant social life.
She was lucky to get all offers as she had exceptional 9 x Grade 9s at GCSEs and 3 A* predicted and then achieved 3 A* in Chem, Bio and Maths (also an A* in a dental related research EPQ), high UCAT, lots of dental work experience, sports, music, etc, an all-rounder and most importantly, good traits of an aspiring dentist.
All the best and good luck.

Hi do you have any tips for the Leeds interview??

At Leeds, I think it could be a possiblity but waiting to hear back from them on how exactly they score them. At an open day tho they did say apparently that is was 50/50.

does she by any chance know anyone that got into Leeds for interview with lowish (by dentistry standards) GCSE's as mine are 988887 for the ones they count and really torn between Leeds and Newcastle just on where most likely to get an interview. Would prefer Leeds location and course, I think. My UCAT score is reasonably good but not sure if that will be enough to balance out the GCSE's. All such a gamble.

Du you mind if I ask what was her UCAT score?
