Trying to Transfer into KCL, second year for Bsc Chemistry 2025

So i am currently studying at QMUL doing Bsc Chemistry and am trying to apply for second year of Bsc Chemistry at KCL.

On the transferring to KCL website it is available to transfer into for second year.
I'm planning on getting a 2:1 or higher as my predicted by studying hard, however, at A - Levels I obtained A*ABB, an A in math but a B in Chemistry. It says as an entry requirement, that A is required in Chemistry. But my A - levels exceed their requirement of AAB.
If I obtain a 2:1 or higher as a predicted, is it possible to overlook the fact that I do not have an A in chemistry? Can someone who has transferred to KCL in the past please help!!

I think only KCL can answer this, as their current transfer guidance includes the following:

"As general guidance, applications for transfer into the second year will only be considered if you meet all of the requirements below:

- You have met the standard first year entry requirements for the course (such as A-levels or equivalent)"

Usually Admissions but KCL have a contact centre for pre-applicants. Under the "Thinking of applying to King's?" section here:

Hey, I did my undergrad in chemistry at qmul, and two of my friends did this exact thing! I think both of them had planned to go there originally but maybe missed their A level targets? Can't remember as it was ages ago but I believe both of them were accepted to kings based on their first year performance at QM

Best of luck

Is it possible for you to ask them and let me know the process of applying? In terms of personal statement wise
