Oxford/ imperial chemistry interviews

Hello! I have just finished a-levels this summer and reapplied to study chemistry at Oxford, imperial, UCL and Warwick. I achieved 4A* in chemistry, physics, maths and further maths and my personal statement and references were solid. There’s still no guarantee I’ll be interviewed at either uni but I wanna cover all my bases but I’m quite unsure on how to prepare for the interviews though.

I hear that imperial and Oxford chemistry interviews are quite different but tbh I don’t know how to prepare for either one. If I could get some support or just some advice on things I could do to prepare that would be great.

Well the university websites would be a useful starting point for advice and example interviews you can watch. YouTube will also have plenty of mock interview examples, as well as students/graduates offering subject specific interview advice clinics.

For Oxford, check out the undergraduate admissions website and the chemistry dept website for further support.
