Lnat help- anyone who has done lnat

Hi,
So I have my LNAT in 2 days and I’m kinda stressing out. I’ve done all the practice papers online but I’m not sure if they are reflective of the actual paper but the official ones thr so hard- highest I got was 26 but I’m aiming for at least 30-31 for oxbridge. Has anyone who has done it give some advice - also what were the essay questions like. Tysm x

The Oxford Law undergraduate student at Corpus Christi College is Jake Pronger. 🙂

For context my cousin did the 2025 cycle and received an official email saying that the average was 20. Last year Oxford released this on their overview on LNAT scores, obviously this might have changed but it was only a year ago.
LNAT essays score of all candidates:
This year the lowest LNAT score for those invited for interview was 16/42
The lowest LNAT score for those made an offer was 20/42
If you got higher than 25 don't be too discouraged remember your application is looked at holistically. But I swear 26 is fine, if that's what you get and you're a good candidate that is solid.

But KCL want 30 and above for Home applicants. 😀 lol

Oxford and Cambridge usually rank the LNAT score alongside GCSEs and A-Levels achieved or predicted A-Level grades. The most successful have 30 and above. ☹️ Nevertheless some have been interviewed with as low as 16 and 19 and 23 in recent years. 😉 lol

For the essays, clear structure and reasoning patterns are very important. These are relatively easy strategies to learn. Practice outlining a bunch of different sample essay prompts. If you want examples of what the essay questions are like, go to 42 LNAT Prep. I included 320 essay prompts. No cost. You've only got a few days, so read through the guides in the Essay Study Series, then read through some of the worked examples. That should help. Good luck!

This is super helpful, thanks. I did the LNAT two years ago (went OK, got into Oxford) but I've sent a link to your site to someone I know who's doing the LNAT next week.
