Law at KCL,UCL,LSE

Hi,

I have been predicted 2 A*s and an A.

with gcse grades of 9,8,8,8,7,7,7,7,7,6

I was wondering if I am competitive and if I stand a chance at a London university for a standard law llb course with these grades or if I should apply to universities such as Warwick, Bristol and Durham instead.

many thanks for your responses.

Be aware that all of these Unis are mega-competitive for Law and they will get thousands - yes, thousands - of applications and many applicants, including those who meet or even exceed the entry requirements, are rejected every year. That means that you could end up with no offer from any of these three Unis, meaning you have to rely on only your other two choices.

I'd suggest that you apply to only two of the London Unis, and leave one choice blank. This means that you may have decisions from those choices before the Jan deadline and can then use that final choice more strategically. You also need a realistic Insurance choice well below your predicted grades - ie. Lancaster (AAB), Loughborough (AAB) - in case it doesn't all go to plan next August.
