Dentistry 2026 entry

Hi, I am a gap year student reapplying for dentistry this year. I have achieved A*AA (chem, physics, bio) grades with a 2130 B1 in the UCAT. (Welsh applicant) 9 A*s 1A and a 6 (economics) at GCSE. Would Sheffield, QMUL, Cardiff, and Manchester be suitable unis to apply to considering my stats? (NON CONTEXTUAL)

Hi N48787442, 👋

These are great grades, you should be very proud! These are definitely acceptable according to Sheffield's webpage on their dentistry courses. If you wanted to speak to a current student enrolled on the dentistry course, to ask any questions or to find out more about the course and life as a Sheffield student, you can speak directly to a student ambassador here.

Any further questions about studying at Sheffield, I would be more than happy to assist.

I wish you all the best with your reapplication!

Best wishes,
Phoebe

Think you could probably apply anywhere apart from Bristol with those grades, Amazing A levels already in the bag and good UCAT score. Jealous!
