Dentistry Application

Hi all,

I’m doing Biomed and planning to go into dentistry (UG or PG). I’m working at 2:1, with A*, A, B at A‑levels (Psych, Bio, Chem), five 9s and five 8s at GCSE, and a 2270 UCAT (B2).

I’m really unsure where to apply. I want to stay in London, but there are only two dental schools (KCL and QMUL), and I’m not sure if I’d be considered a competitive applicant for either. I’m also wondering which dental schools outside London would be good options considering my A-level grades.

Also, do UCAT cut-offs tend to be higher for applicants who already have a degree and are applying for UG dentistry?

Any advice or guidance would be really appreciated!
