PPE at LSE and Warwick

My son has taken 4 subjects in his A levels. He has a predicted grade of A*AAB (Philosophy, Maths, Physics and Economics) and 9A* and 1A in GCSCs. He has a good personal statement , what are his chances of getting into LSE, Warwick for PPE?

He was very keen on Oxford but unfortunately his mocks didn’t go as well and he has low predicted grades than expected.

The LSE might be possible with 9A* 1A at GCSE and A*AAB in 4 A-Levels but ultimately the offer will depend on a 'stellar'' UCAS Personal Statement.

Warwick is much more likely to make an offer. But the LSE is a lottery in recieving an offer.

LSE is very unlikely without A* in maths.

LSE requires an A* in Further Maths as the user above has said.

Warwick seems to just have A*AA as their A-level entry requirement:

Yes and the LSE has an average of 16 applicants per place. ☹️
