Architecture At Edinburgh Application - Work Experience ?
Hi ! I'm planning on applying to Architecture at University Of Edinburgh to start in September of 2026,
I've not managed to secure any architectural work experience yet and I was wondering if anyone has applied without specifically architectural experience and still got in?
I'm still applying to work experience so I might manage to get some before application deadlines but I'm just curious to know.
I have volunteering experience that I'm sure I can tailor to applying for Architecture but none that is directly relevant - like work at a firm.
My grades this year (Scottish Highers) were AAAAAA, and I'm sitting Advanced Maths and Art, and Higher Photography. But I'm sure most people applying meet the grade requirements too so this won't matter that much.

You don't need specific work-experience for Architecture.
