Is it possible to get into Cambridge?

I have just sat my LNAT today and honestly, I’m not feeling overly confident about it. I will be applying to Cambridge next week for law. If I were to get a mediocre score in the LNAT, I wondered whether it would be possible to even get a place. For context, I got 988888776 at GCSE (6 in physics), predicted A*A*A* at a level with either an A or A* predicted in EPQ. In my UCAS application, I’ve mentioned supercurriculars like books, work experience, lecture programmes, essay competitions, article writing and then my EPQ. Im feeling pretty unconfident about it now, but just wanted to know what everyone else thought. I was also thinking of applying to LSE and UCL as my other LNAT universities. 🤍

Youve defo got a good chance but apply to 2 unis that dont need the LNAT eg Warwick just incase. For unis that need the lnat im applying to Bristol, oxford and kcl, and then warwick and liverpool as they dont need it.

Thanks so much!! That’s similar to me; I will apply to Cambridge, UCL, LSE, QMUL and Royal Holloway. Good luck with everything 🤍

I’m sure you stand a good chance!! Especially because Cambridge interview approx 70% of applicants anyways. I’ve known people who have got a place with just over the avg LNAT score (so they achieved around 24/25).

On a separate note, what about it did you feel as though didn’t go too well? Was it similar difficulty to the practice papers you were doing?

Thanks so much for responding! That’s great to know

Im not too sure, I think it was just a bit of an off day for me all round. It definitely felt different to all past papers I had done, which I almost expected, but I think that threw me off a lot. My test was also booked super early (8am!!) and in a whole other town, so honestly, I didn’t feel too comfortable generally.

Can I ask what book or website is most representative to the actual exam? I heard the LawMind website is pretty accurate but in my opinion that’s too easy compared to the LNAT website sample paper and other things like The Big Book of LNAT Questions is much harder. Any help would be much appreciated
