Queens University Belfast?

Hiya, I'm a welsh year 13 student looking to apply for medicine in universities that will accept my stats.
WJEC GCSES: 10A*, 1A, 1 merit for additional maths
As level: AAAB in biology, religious studies, mathematics and chemistry.
Predicted A-levels: A*AA
UCAT: 1990 B4 (67th decile)
I'm contextual and a young carer.
My main issue is the band 4. I am aware that QUB do not use the SJT unless differentiating between close applicants. Currently using their 2026 entry scoring system I'd be sitting at 42/45. My question is do I risk it and apply despite my band 4?

The other universities i am looking at are Cardiff, exeter, aberdeen, dundee, st andrews and leeds. Any advice would be appreciated.

Remember if you don't include them in your 1st application for medicine/dental they will automatically reject any application you do after a gap year etc. They also only consider GCSEs if you have not got your A level results, so much easier to get into with a gap year.
