A-level Geography NEA - help needed urgently

Ok so basically I’m completely and utterly stumped with my geography NEA, exam board is AQA.

I have absolutely no clue what I’m doing and the idiot head of the geography department at my school changed the timings so now we have from late September until the 20th of October to do it, rather than over the summer holidays.

On top of that I’ve also got history coursework to do as well.

Essentially I’m extremely stressed and need advice, both of my geography teachers are absolutely useless and have been no help, one of them isn’t even qualified (thanks a lot academy system) while the other seems to be straight out of university with zero teaching experience.

Please help, i need it urgently.

get an exemplar a* nea and straight out copy the format (obviously not the content). make it like a proper research journal if u wanna go all out. print out the specification and make sure each section reflects the top band. what section are you specifically stuck on?

hey! im in year 13 and i study AQA a-level geography too !! and i might be able to help a bit ..I get how stressful the NEA can be, especially with the deadline .The best thing to do is figure out whether you prefer physical or human geography .
If you’re into human geography, you could do something like “To what extent has the regeneration of Canary Wharf improved environmental quality?” If you prefer physical geography, maybe: “How does coastal management affect erosion along the Holderness Coast?” - these are examples from past NEA's by the way i wouldn't recommend you copying them but try and like rephrase them .
Pick something local which you could focus on . Then build your question around it and follow the basic structure like the intro, methods, data, analysis, conclusion, evaluation.
Also, check out YouTube search “AQA Geography NEA example” i found this link so it might help .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEwEvGgaX4E&list=PLVpbiinV271Ucpa0NCmgi47hFYSF4uXX5&index=1
Also, make sure you do plenty of research especially using Google Scholar. Try to find academic articles related to your question, because people might have critiqued similar ideas or case studies. It’ll help you back-up your analysis and show depth. Good Luck
