Have you looked at Finance degrees and checked the entry requirements?

Courses may specify certain GCSE requirements - typically Maths and/or English - and some may be be explicit about the sort of 'GCSE profile' they expect (Bath as one example), whilst many others will just use GCSEs as a very small element in their assessment process because they are far more interested in your A level grades. This is exactly the sort of admissions info that you can ask about at Uni Open Days, or just email Uni Admissions teams and ask.

Hello,

Have you decided what uni/s you’d ideally like to study at? Some Russell group universities may require higher GCSEs grades but in general, GCSEs grade requirements can be somewhat flexible and/or GCSE equivalents (e.g., functional skills) are also accepted at some universities. I recommend that you make a priority list of your preferred universities and check the “entry requirements” section on their website.

All the best

Any specific GCSE grade requirements are NOT flexible.
They are there for the level of basic skills required to complete that course and are essential requirements - not 'nice to have'.

Indeed they are essential but flexible with regards to the required grade as I mentioned. For example KCL requires GCSE grade 6/B or above whereas other universities (e.g., West london accepts grade C) for Accounting & Finance and/or some universities accept functional skills level 2 as an alternative for maths and english GCSEs. 😊
