Philosophy and Politics or Geography Help

Im a Scottish student applying to uni this year and im stuck between choices. Im interested in studying philosophy but would like to do it as a joint degree with something else, ive been thinking politics so far but open to others. Im hesitant however as im worried about jobs prospects post grad, I would apply to a more beneficial degree however I lack science and maths and overall wouldn't really be interested in anything that's not essay based. To my surprise I had seen a lot of geography students land roles within companies like JP Morgan and thought perhaps this may be a safe route for me to go down. (Not interested in JP Morgan etc but appreciate that the degree has landed geo students within good roles)

I realise with Scottish unis you are to study three subjects in first year, but im not too well informed on this and currently unaware if I would be able to study all three or even just geography then politics with something else.

Can anyone give any advice on what route I should go down? Or even if I should look into something else entirely that I hadn't considered. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Most Arts / Humanities / Social Science degrees do not lead directly to an obvious career - and you will find grads working in a very wide range of career areas. Employers want to 'higher thinking' skills that all grads have - not the specific subject knowledge - this is what sets grads aside from school leavers and why you see job ads for 'graduate, any discipline'. So, don't worry too much about 'careers' at this stage. Your ideas about what you want to do will switch around during your degree, and you will have a Careers team at Uni to provide workshops, employer fairs, and lots of helpful advice.

Possible Philosophy, Politics, Geography degree angles :
Combined Honours BA | Undergraduate | Newcastle University
Development, undergraduate courses : University of Sussex
Politics, Religion and Philosophy BA - University of Birmingham
International Human Rights Law (LLB) - Undergraduate, University of York
BSc International Social and Public Policy with Study Abroad | Study at Bristol | University of Bristol
etc etc
