year 12 textiles supercurriculars

Hi, does anyone have an idea of supercurriculars to do if i’m planning to study fashion design/textiles in uni? i’m open to anything, and i’m thinking of entering a textiles competition but i’m not sure what ones are available.

Useful Moocs - short free online courses -
History of Royal Fashion - Free Online Course - FutureLearn

If you are thinking more of a design career rather than marketing/industry, look at taking a 1-year Foundation in Art and Design course (FAD) before Uni - it will give you more specialised training and you will have the best resources/facilities and staff expertise to devise the best portfolio. Examples :
UAL Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (Fashion and Textiles) | Ravensbourne University London
UAL Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (Fashion, Textiles and Communication) - Morley College Courses
