Dental Hygiene and Therapy - post grad as a dental nurse?
Hi,
I was wondering what the percentage of people who apply to dental hygiene are qualified dental nurses, with experience, as I have heard that the majority of people who apply to dental hygiene either: dont get into dentistry, or are previously qualified nurses. It is obvious that the dental nurses are much more qualified compared to an undergrad. Although the grade requirements are lower compared to dentistry, most of those who are applying will most likely have grades above the base line entry requirements and will probably favour those compared to someone who just about got the entry requirements. I just wanted to confirm if this is right, and any more information anyone has on the entry process.
