is it fine if i do all biology past papers instead of the topic specific questions?

its because i have a mock coming up soon i literally have like no time and ive already done a few topic specific questions i just want to see what grade im at now

ya that’s actually better. all the topic questions come from the past papers. plus doing past paper questions will give u the same feeling as the mock. gll

save the past papers for your actual exam!!! there aren't a lot available so don't waste them on a mock. also, a lot of its content (esp in paper 2) will be topics you haven't covered yet. its better to do topic specific questions for everything you know will come up on the mock. textbooks and pmt will have plenty

Hi @rana.x ,

Its perfectly fine to do practice papers instead, just remember, I would just recommend starting with papers a few years ago, rather than the one the year prior, as it's unlikely they will ask the same questions two years in a row.

As the other commenter stated, doing past papers may be a better alternative as you can get a broad idea of what grade you are at.
