uni med choices

hii i kinda need some help on what unis to apply for med, im applying as international and I didn’t get that high of a ucat score

international: 2230 band 1 ucat (9th decile), 8A* in gcse and 4A* predicted

im wondering what unis would be okay as i don’t have much idea, for now: my shortlist is Southampton, Queen Mary, Leicester and Edinburgh. realistically how are my chances of getting into, or does anyone have any other recommendations

i really want to get into Edinburgh but i worry for ucat score is too low for it helpp THANK YOU

Your ucat is definitely NOT low 😂 2230 was bad last year but this year it is a really good score. Abstract reasoning got removed so the new highest score is 2700 not 3600. 9th decile also means your better than 90% of students who sat the ucat this year, so that is really good! You can probably apply to most unis and get an offer. Just ace the personal statement and interviews and your definitely good
