Passion Projects

I want to study physics at uni but can’t think of a physics related passion project to help towards my applications, does anyone have any ideas what i could do?

Is this for an application to a US university?

You don't need a "passion project" for UK unis. Doing wider reading is sufficient.

If you have the opportunity to participate in e.g. competitions or science fairs that's also a good opportunity to jump at. You don't need to do something groundbreaking in those though - just doing good, basic science and understanding how to properly write it up is a good experience in of itself (or how to apply your existing knowledge to unfamiliar problems than the exam questions you'll be continually practicing on!)

Register for BPhO round 0 through your school, and COMPOS and Oxford quantum club from their websites.

the COMPOS deadlines have passed already, also the Oxford quantum club seems to have a lot of work, might this be an issue if i already have an abundance of super curriculars?

What abundance of super curriculars are you doing? COMPOS has the follow along programme

I’m currently applying for the COMPOS follow along programme. along with this i tutor maths to some year 11s in my school, i have also just began Cambridges’ Davidson inventors challenge. Ontop of this I have 4 months of fundraising ahead in order to help out at a pilgrimage. I also plan to apply to the oxford online maths club when it returns in January

I think this is plenty, although th fundraising is an extracurricular, not a supercurricular

Also quantum club would probably be better than the maths club given your interest in physics
