failed some modules in Year 1 for Accountancy & Finance

I thought I was able to continue to studying for Year 2 and repeat the failed module and sit exam in January 2026. I received an email saying I had passed Yr ! and received a timetable for Yr 2.

Now i have returned to DMU, signed for a yr's tenancy agreement but have received an email from SSF stating my finance id being reduced as i will only be attending the Uni until January. I don't understand what has happened and what I should do. Can you please advise?

You need to speak with your personal tutor at the uni to understand whether you did progress to second year or not. If so, you then need to contact SFE to get your finance updated. Otherwise you need to make plans as appropriate.

Hi there!

Sorry to hear about your situation, I’d recommend getting in touch with your personal tutor but most importantly your Student Faculty Advice Centre as soon as possible to get some clarification and advise.

You can find the contact details for your faculty on this webpage below.

If you have any issues getting through or need further help, please feel free to get in contact!
