does ucl care about igcse resits for medicine?

I resat my igcses more than once due to personal reasons but finally ended up getting Bs and above (B for maths and chemistry, A for FLE). I've just started my a levels and my college is already asking us to look into applying for scholarships. I've more or less already put together a list of 5 universities that I want to apply to, but I'm just worried that I'll be wasting one of my applications on UCL if they're not going to even consider my application. I'm aware that they don't accept A level resits, but assuming I meet the required a level grades the first time around, will I have a chance at getting into UCL? will my igcse resits play a big part in their decision? please feel free to suggest any other medical universities in the UK that I should look into as well.

The website states they don't accept resits, and it doesn't make any distinction between A-levels and GCSEs, so I'm afraid you'd be wasting your time applying for UCL. Other medical schools will be more lenient with retakes and GCSEs but you should double-check to make sure the options you're applying to are feasible.

Also, you say you know your 5 universities, and so I just wanted to make sure you know that only 4 of them can be medicine?
