Advice On Unis- BA Illustration/ Visual Communications Design

Hi,
I’m currently in the process of trying to apply for university and I’m looking at BA illustration, visual communication or one that combines both of the interests together. I really enjoy creating things and being experimental as at the moment I am enjoying exploring photography as well as physical art as well like lino and stippling- hence I wanted a course that would be suitable to do both on but also still allow me to get this important insight on the creative industry through something like a placement year that could help me for after graduation as well but still have that support to develop my individual style.

I was hoping to maybe get some advice on people that have done the same or similar degrees or are currently endeavouring in them from different unis to see what people would recommend for someone in my situation. Which unis have you enjoyed, what opportunities have you received there, what helped you to grow as a creative, what courses do you recommend?
