keble vs st annes @ oxford

hi!! i’m a prospective student for 2026 entry and i’m applying to oxford for biomed but struggling to choose a college. keble and st anne’s are the options ive narrowed my choices down to because they have a high percentage or state school students which is ideal for me as im a state school student.

my preferences are a college with plenty of diversity, well kept and good quality accommodation (preferably small rooms also), pleasant library and study spaces, music facilities (practice rooms since i play clarinet) and overall just a pleasant appearance. i thought i was going set on st anne’s but it lacks that traditional oxford feel so now i’m unsure.

any help is appreaciated! thank you!!!

Where you apply is not terribly important as it's somewhat common for you to end up in an entirely different college than the one you applied to, or even got interviewed for. So pick whichever one tickles your fancy the most but don't have your heart super set on it!
