How to get into more political and historical spheres

I’m currently in a gap year and I want to be politically and historically involved, I’ve recently signed up for the Green Party residential but I’m open debate many things and get into that sphere
I participated in the London international model United Nations before
and I’m applying to history for 2026 entry, what things can I do and who can I reach out to maybe on LinkedIn or anywhere

Thank you

You don't need 'relevant work-experience' for a History degree - and you don't need to be politically active. You do need evidence of your relevant academic interests and that these interests exceed just the A level syllabus.
