UCAT 1800 B2 Graduate Entry Dentistry

I scored lower than I would have liked...1800 Band 2. I am a graduate, and have been working full time for 4 years. I didnt do GSCE's as I went to school in Australia so we had no formal exams during year 10, but I did do the IB in Year 11 & 12. I got a 2;1 in a biomedical degree.

Are my chances non existent? I am happy to go anywhere in the UK. I was thinking to apply for Liverpool, UCLan, Leeds & Kings (this is very unlikely but I thought I'd chance it).

I have loads of dentistry shadowing experience, volunteer weekly & even work with a dental charity in my spare time, so my PS is good.

Thanks for any advice!

Hi @contigo98,

It's great to hear that you are thinking of applying to study with us. To give you the best advice and any answers to your questions, I would recommend getting in touch with our enquires team. This team is there to help with the application process and go through any options with you that you'd like to go through.

You can find out the various dentistry courses we offer, their requirements and much more here: Study Dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire

We do requite a B grade in Maths and English for our dentistry course but the enquires team will be able to help with other options you may have or ways you could get your GCSE grades. If you are a UK applicant please email [email protected] or [email protected] if you are international. You could also call the team on +44 (0)1772 892 400 (Option 1 for UK and Option 2 for international queries).

Hope this helps and best wishes,
^Zac
