Wrong course name

Hi, @Student Finance England

I applied for student finance for my undergrad degree and started my course last week. However, there has been a delay to my payment as I've just found out that the course name was incorrect on my application. It is still the same uni, course length & fees and my account said that everything was complete and awaiting confirmation of enrolment.

But having spoken to an advisor at uni today, they said that due to a it being a change of circumstances it will take up to 17 days for the change to go through so I can be paid. Is this correct and is there anyway to get it processed any faster? Is there anything else that I have to do? (see attached screenshot of application as it stands).

Just to add, the uni have sent confirmation of registration today. The payments section on my SFE account states the date of 29th Sep and says 'Payment in Progress'.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated

Hi there, Once we receive a change of circumstances from the university, it can indeed take an estimated 17 working days for review to update a change of circumstances. However this timescale is estimated and as such, is subject to change.
Once the application and the confirmation of registration has been updated this will allow for the payments to be issued as normal. at present we will be be awaiting the issue of a new award letter confirming the change being issued. Stephen
