Ask SFE- Part Time Loan Eligibility

Hi,

I have an application in place to study History via the OU.

I started a Full time undergraduate degree back in 2009 and only completed a term, which I know will not be considered as I am now applying for a part time loan.

However in 2020 I started a History degree with the OU and didn't complete the first year.

Will this affect my ability for finance on my latest application?

Hi there, under the Part Time study criteria, students are eligible up to a maximum of 16 years of funding, so if this has been only 1 year used for the part time studies, then I do not see any problem. Stephen
