A level choices

Hi! I'm currently a y11 student and I am wondering if any of these are good alevel combinations. I likely will have to do English as my parents want me to do either that or maths.
If any of the below are better as a different mix please let me know. The different ideas are listed in no order if relevance.

1) law, English, sociology
2) law, English, philosophy+ethics
3) law, English, politics
4) law, english, religious studies
5) English, politics, religious studies
6) english, politics, philosophy+ethics
7)law, English, environmental sciences or geography.

All options I'm thinking about (likely will remove some after sixth form open evenings)

Law
Geography
Environmental sciences
Sociology
English (preferably language if offered if not lit)
Philosophy (/ethics)
Religion
Politics

You will be the one who has to study and sit the exams, not your parents.

Which subjects do you want to study? And is your plan to go to university? Which course if so?

If you are thinking about doing law at uni you do not need to do it at a levels you just need to do essay based subjects for the analytical side. I do Psychology English Lit and philosophy & ethics. P&E is interesting but if you are not an essay person this is probably not the subject for you. English Lit is also interesting as you have the NEA (AQA exam board) where you get to study two books of your choice and do an untimed essay but if you do not LOVE and enjoy English don’t pick it. In general do not pick subjects that you are not a fan of. I am in year 13 and I don’t regret any of my options so make sure that you know what you want to do subject wise and if you have a vague idea or a few ideas of what you might want to do at uni look at subject specific advice as for certain degrees you have to have done a certain a level. I’m sure you will make a good choice and good luck with year 11 it’s tough but worth it in the end.

What are you planning on doing after a-levels?
I did both geography and sociology and loved them.
