for my fourth choice would I be able to apply to either Birmingham or KCL? or is that too risky? Ik that the two of them have very high ucat averages and maybe it would be more strategic to apply to somewhere like sheffield instead even tho id prefer the other two?
or should I consider Manchester? ive heard that the course is quite disorganised from some people who attend for dent so im not sure.
Hi, My stats are 2160 B1 999999888 predicted A*A*A Im going to apply to Liverpool Cardiff Leeds for my fourth choice would I be able to apply to either Birmingham or KCL? or is that too risky? Pls help! Thank u
Birmingham definitely very risky as it's UCAT only and based on last year cut off would be around 2180. KCL also a bit risky as UCAT would be 2200+ although your GCSEs can help balance it for you. But Sheffield very safe. Also Manchester safe as you have a B1. Don't listen to these anecdotal stories - all unis are disorganised to some extent. They are one of the top rated dental school in the country

Manchester - Apparently they were not doing enough root canal procedures ( supervision) with their final year students this year so were investigated by some governing board and held accountable/room for improvement. Also student satisfaction the lowest out of all the dental Unis last year or this year - can't remember which. Which does ring alarm bells a little bit - like 63% compared to 86% for most others. Might put some people off. But my thoughts were they will now need to put improvements in place.
