let’s just wait until decision day (probs 24/25th).

No point comparing **** sizes post-application.

Hey! I’m a 4th Year Cambridge student and I'm running a free Oxbridge bioscience admissions webinar tomorrow 6-7pm and thought it might be helpful to some of you. I’ll go over interview tips and questions, how to answer them and what makes a strong applicant. If you want to join, just send me a message. No pressure at all - it's free and I just thought I’d share in case it’s useful.

Hi I can’t msg privately but I would like to join.

I got Hertford (where I applied) and Keble.
I think I'll probs end up doing around 3/4 mock interviews but people on reddit and TikTok are scaring me lol; is that enough??? I don't have huge issues w communication and stuff like that so i've been prioritising the content revision instead.
Other prep I've been doing already is what chatGPT told me to look over from my a-level bio and chem and also re-reading and making detailed notes on anything I mentioned in my PS. How about everyone else????

For those of you invited to interview at Oxford, congrats! Some tips for interview preparation

a.) Go through your GCSE Chem, Bio, Physics and Maths - its intertwined during interview. No one is asking you to be a master of each subject but tutor will be assessing you on how you view questions prompted. No right nor wrong answers.
Cover your A level till where you are at the moment, no more no less.

b.) Do not attempt to use ChatGPT to pre-generate coaching interview sessions for yourself. The tutors can see through it quite easily.

c.) Speak confidently and if you do not understand the questions - ask the tutor/assessor to repeat again.

d.) Don't brag about yourself nor at the same time undersell yourself. Remember the planet still spins with or without you, its not about how great you want to be in the future but what you have to show you are a good candidate to be offered a place there.
