tmua january equal consideration deadline?

hi everyone

i've booked the oct tmua but its getting very close and i've realised i'm not ready for it at all

im applying for eco and need the tmua for LSE UCL and warwick but im not applying to cambridge. so i'm considering cancelling my october tmua and booking for jan to give me more time to prepare

however im a bit confused about the deadlines. january tmua is 8th/9th jan, and results come in around 4 weeks which would be in early feb. however for lse/ucas the equal consideration deadline is january 14th so im just a bit confused as to how i would be able to submit my application by the deadline without my tmua score?

if i choose to take the january tmua will my application be disadvantaged as ill be applying after the equal consideration deadline?
sorry for so many questions but if anyone could give me any feedback i'd really appreciate it!
thank you!

I’m doing the tmua in jan, this shouldn’t be a problem. As far as i’ve heard both have equal consideration and it does not matter which one you sit, but as always make sure to search as well to double check. As admissions exams are heavily weighted, they will check everything first before making a decision they usually wait until they have everyone’s results etc.So as long as ur ucas application is submitted before the deadline the tmua results will be forwarded to the unis in due time.

your tmua is linked to your application through your ucas ID, you don't put it on your application yourself. Also since they're computer-based now the unis probably get your score very quickly but they don't release it to everyone until way later/after offers

I had a friend who was applying to similar schools who did the TMUA in Jan and I think you have to submit your application without knowing your score, but don't quote me I wasn't an Econ applicant.
