deferral of vet med
Does anybody know how to do deferred entry on vet med course? Is it select 2026 on UCAS then contact university or directly select 2027 as start date?
Especially for University of Nottingham, has anybody do a deferral before?

Hi , you would apply for 2026 entry and then you would need to contact the university before submitting your application to make sure they are happy to accept a deferred entry

You can either apply for 2027 entry from the start - just select this as the 'year of entry' on your UCAS application - or you can apply for 2026 entry and email the Uni later asking if you can defer, and you can do the asking before or after you have an offer, but just be aware that no Uni has to say Yes, and that most Unis will have a cut-off date for requests.

I selected "September 2027" for the year of entry but UCAS sent me an email says the course is not available and they had removed my choice. And I have to add a new choice. So I'm wondering if I must choose 2026 and contact university to defer.

I also don't see email address of Nottingham to contact, only a online enquiry system which I don't get any replies back.

Phone that Uni asap to find out why they wont allow you to apply for 2027 now, and if you could apply for 2026 and then defer later.
