Politics Alevel

For anyone doing politics alevel,
A) is it really hard
B) is the essay writing tough
C) would it be hard for me to catch up on a months worth of work(yr12)
D) is it less respected in an economics course at uni than a science (chem)
Is it worth it??
I want to do an Econ degree and I’m just not sure. We do edexcel btw!

a) b) it was hard at first for essays in y12, but you should get into the flow of it quickly. (I’m Edexcel too!), when you reach the point of doing source essays, it’s not as hard as it seems.
c) it should be yeah. the first topics of uk politics i did were the constitution and democracy (topic 1 and topic 5), and they were easier ones - catching up shouldn’t be monumentally hard
d) not sure on this im afraid, but id presume politics complements economics better than sciences would?
