Quick question about guests in uni accommodation 🏡

Hey everyone! 😊
Does anyone know if guests are allowed to stay for a day or two in the standard en-suite rooms at Surrey? Thinking of having a friend visit for a short stay and wanted to check if that’s okay with accommodation rules. Should we pay extra?
Thanks in advance!

According to this document (p. 12 - "Guests") it seems you can have guests. I'm not sure of the duration they can stay, but "it is only the licence holder who is permitted to reside in university accommodation" seems to suggest there is a limit.

I do wonder if you are planning on letting them stay in your room, or in a vacant ensuite? I think - for comfort - I would suggest booking a guest room (where apparently they can stay for up to 28 days), because from what I can see the standard ensuite room doesn't look too spacious. I'm not a student at Surrey, so I don't exactly know how feasible the latter option is, either, so I suppose it would be up to you if you thought you could risk it...

Hope this helps!

Will they be staying overnight?
