Imperial Medicine 2026

Hey everyone!
I resit my biology and got a 6, my GCSEs are 876666666 and my English language is a 7, i do know that in the interview process, applicants are scored based off their ucat and their GCSEs grades however every university is different. Since my GCSEs are on the average side since they meet the requirements just not above them, would you say I still stand a good chance for applying for medicine at imperial?
My predicted grades are A*AA, my ucat is 2250 band 1 + supercurriculars + volunteering

Hii I got similar GCSEs but a lil higher and I was asking imperial by emailing them and that’s what they said
Thank you for your email. Our minimum requirement is for grades AAA in three A-levels including Chemistry and Biology, with a standard offer being A*AA (with the A* in Chemistry or Biology). When initially assessing applications, we look at predicted grades, not AS level or GCSE results. If these are sufficient then you will proceed to the next stage of the assessment, which is the UCAT. All applicants who are predicted AAA will go through to the next stage of the selection process (the UCAT grades), thus a candidate predicted 4 A*s has no advantage over one who is predicted AAA. Applicants with the highest UCAT scores are invited to interview and offers are made based on interview performance. Please note that any offer made will be our standard as above.

We permit GCSE resits as we do not assess GCSEs. We do not permit A-level resits.
Regarding English, the College minimum English requirement can be found on our website: https://www.imperial.ac.uk/study/apply/english-language/. However, please note that this will not affect your application. Applicants only need to meet our English requirement if they are made an offer.
Kind regards,

Wish that could help you
