Hi am looking to get student finance for part time Bsc computer science degree from aston university online. I did my two years BA Pass from pakistan in Mass Communication. And two years MA in Mass Communication as well. So my masters degree is equal to bachelors degree in UK.

Hi there,

We normally don't fund second degree's unless its one of our exception courses. If you confirm the course details we can check if this course shows as an exception course. When is the course starting? How long is the course?

Thanks,
Claire

Thanks,
Claire

Hi there,

There isn't a 4 year option showing. But the 3 year part time option would be classed as an exception course. Thanks, Jason

Thank you Jason for your response. I did apply for student finance as per degree its 4 years and per year cost is £5201. Am sure thats the one you talking about.

Hi all about data,

It could be, as it is the 3 year full time equivalent duration. It is the university who updates the course information on our shared database, so you can double check with them directly. If it is the same course, you would be eligible as part time Computer Science courses are an exception to previous study and equal level qualification rules.

Thanks, Clare
