Alevels

I did badly in my year one of a levels like really badly, u was predicted to get average d in biology, d in chemistry and c in maths. I put in minimal effort and it is highly kind of my fault I know this. My teachers gave me three options, to change my course from biology to human biology, retake year one again or have two lessons each for biology and chemistry in my timetable. I know this is unrealistic but I think I will get a good grade at the final and I do not want to take any of this options. As they have a down side to them. What can I do?

There are downsides to everything, you may have to just accept there will be negatives. How do you think you will improve your grades without the options from the school?

I do not think I should redo year one again as the year one just started, I believe I can improve drastically if I put in the work, learn year two content in school during free and do year one content at home at least five hours on a week day? What do you think? I am not applying though as I know I will not get any offers? Can you give me a suggestion? I want an A, A, A

I really think you should consider what your school is offering because at the end of the day they want to support you to reach your potential. It gives you more time and support to really master the year one content, because year two especially for biology is incredibly difficult if you do not understand the year one content sufficiently. I imagine chemistry is similar but I only studied biology.
