Doesn't need to.
I haven't reviewed many Vet Med statements this year but did quite a lot in the old format - the best ones reflected on work experience and tried to connect that to what they'd been learning in their own time about different animal diseases and conditions. Those connections are harder to achieve using the 2026 layout but not impossible.
