Should I switch IB subjects?

For context, we're currently around 7 weeks into the first year of IB and we have the next week off.

Right now, I'm taking HL Physics, and I'm pretty behind right now. The teacher is absolutely horrendous at teaching, making everything so overcomplicated for no reason. Basically how my school works is 2-3 subjects are in the same timetable block, so physics is in the same one as DT, so I'm heavily contemplating switching to DT. From what I've heard, DT is pretty easy (up till now, 1.5 months into IB). I did GCSE DT as well, and looking at the course, it seems like IB DT is just GCSE DT but going more in depth, and adding more concepts. I've looked at some sources as well, and they say IB physics is around 1.5-1.7x harder than GCSE Physics, and IB DT is more than 2x harder than GCSE DT so I'm kind of confused what to do. It's obiously going to only become harder physics wise, and catching up with DT if I decide to switch, so in your opinion, what would be the best choice. If I choose to switch, I could majorly catch up during the break as well.
I got 8 in DT and 9 in Physics in GCSE, so DT was pretty calm for me.
I could also switch Physics HL to DT to SL, and Chem (which I also take and find relatively simple) to HL.
