Should i report a cheating classmate?

I am in a group chat for an online maths course. Today i got a text message from one of the students in the course asking if i would be interested in some "help" with any of my fall courses.

Basically, this person says they bypass online proctors for exams, and all I have to do is turn my camera on.

I said no, but they sent videos of them completing the process for other students in their exams, answering every question right.

I am here studying like mad for good grades, and this person is scoring high on exams for others and I would assume for themselves as well by cheating. I don't want to be a snitch, but this definitely got me thinking about snitching in this instance. What should I do? Should I just ignore it or maybe anonymously report it?

Don't snitch. Nobody likes a grass.

Ignore it and move on.

I’d report it anonymously. It’s serious cheating and unfair to everyone who’s working hard. You’re not being a snitch, you’re protecting the integrity of the course.

Medicine is a a career demanding high ethical standards - you shouldn't even need to ask yourself this question, just do it.

I respectfully disagree. If she does it anonymous nobody would know who she was

Exactly! Imagine the patients that these people (that cheated) are going to have and they don't know what to do because they cheated on their final exams and didn't study because they didn't need to!

It’s not about knowing who she is. It is about her own view about herself as a snitch.

If this is a university or higher level course, absolutely 100% report it. It's better to be a "snitch" than risk getting caught up in it at all.
