GCSE Spanish - how to study and revise to get 7-9

Hello,

I'm in Y10 doing Spanish.
I don't have a particular interest in the subject; however have to take a language option.
How should I be revising and what are the techniques for aiming/ getting grade 7-9

Thanks

i would speak to your teachers after class and ask if you could have a chat about your grades and how to improve them. You can go over your past papers and see what it is you mainly struggle with as this will give you advice that's tailored to you. It's better to work on the specific stuff you struggle with from this tailored advice as that is how you will see the biggest improvements the fastest. Podcasts are also a great passive way of learning especially for language. Watching movies and tv shows are a good way to relax but still be taking in the language and improving your listening skills. I used to watch money heist a lot and other Spanish shows on Netflix.

Hope this helps

Hi! I'm in Year 12 doing A-Level Spanish and got a 9 at GCSE. The main way in which I revised was by breaking the vocabulary down and using Quizlet pretty much daily to learn this. Another thing I would do would be to practice grammar regularly. Doing past papers regularly is also important. Putting all of your weakest vocabulary words into a Quizlet/flashcards also helped. Hope this helps
