Can you be both a private and internal student?
I want to do an extra gcse and then when i start doing alevel i may do the same subject's alevel privately, or maybe not take an extra gcse and just the alevel privately since I've already done this subject's igcse. The main issue is I'm not sure if you can register as an internal candidate for some gcses and then in the same exam season register as a private candidate for a different subjects gcse. Same with alevels. So i wanna know if i can be a private and internal gcse/alevel candidate for different subjects?
Reason I'm asking is bcz on AQAs website it says you can't be a private and internal candidate dueing the same exam series/season. But I'm wondering if that rule only applies to the same subject exams. Like bcz it makes sense that you can't be a private and internal candidate in the same gcse/alevel subject. Bcz if that's the case then I'd be able to do one gcse/alevel privately and the other subjects internally in one exam series.
Also, if it is possible to do this and you've done private and internal exams in the same exam series, pls let me know what exam boards you did and like how the process went.

I'm not sure but I think you can take exams outside of school. You can though talk with your teacher about it and see if they let you to entry the exam
