Am I Good To Go> - Cambridge Engineering Application

I need to submit my UCAS application pronto so this is a kind of final sanity check, welcoming any and all feedback!

I am predicted A*, A*, A, A* in physics, maths, further maths (the A) and computer science respectively. This meets the minimum offer requirements (compsci is almost never offered on) but as I come from a private school, this is slightly tighter. I think I have done alright on the ESATs - certainly in the top 50%, and maybe in the top 25% (physics was particularly good). I am very proud of my personal statement and it is as good as I can make it - with a really good reference from my school to back it up. My GCSEs were nine 9s, one 8 in history.

Aware that there's basically nothing I can do but send off the form and hope for the best (begging for higher predicteds not included, they don't seem to want to budge). But as a final check before I send it off for good tomorrow morning, any and all feedback is appreciated

I've already sent off my application for Oxford Bio. I don't know your PS but I'd say just do a final spelling and grammar check to be sure and make sure your capitals for things are correct. Then just send it off! I was a bit nervous before but when there's nothing more you can do it's a relief to submit. Good luck!

Hi! I wish you the best of luck with your application and was hoping you could please offer some advice. I am in Y12 and would love to study engineering, aiming for Oxbridge. Can you please provide some insight as to why you chose Cambridge over Oxford and any other advice? For example, what extra curricular activities have you done? I am currently studying maths, further maths, physics and engineering (A level equivalent) for a level. Thanks

If you have excellent grades in Maths and Physics, strong predicted A-levels (or equivalent), high admissions test performance (like ENGAA or TMUA), and a solid personal statement and reference yes, you’re good to go for Cambridge Engineering.
