1) Decide which subject you actually want to do - and why. Get some work-experience on a school - do you still want to do education? If you are still dithering then plan a gap year and do some calm thinking, and apply with achieved grades next year.

2) 1 A level and 2 'certificates' will be okay for most 'UCAS points' Unis but not for the more competitive Unis that make offers in specific grades. They will usually only accept 1 BTEC certificate with 2 A levels. And be aware that Criminology is a Welsh exam board 'Applied Diploma' - its not a BTEC.

3) Look at a wider range of courses and think about the sort of career / job you are aiming at. Criminology and Psychology, Business and Law, Policing, Social Work, Childhood Studies, Education with Psychology, Special Needs Education etc etc

4) Apprenticeships - Search apprenticeship Find an apprenticeship GOV.UK
