Experimental linguistics, speech and language therapy

I want to be a speech and language therapist, however don't really like any of the universities that do it. I'm also really really interested in psycholinguistics, however don't have the GCSE's for it.
Should i consider experimental linguistics at UCL?
If anyone's done/doing it, id like to know how it is and what sort of jobs are attainable from it.

Hi faunaa,

I'm not really an expert in speech language. However, i have had a look on the prospects following and a degree in experimental linguistics at UCL directly relate to the following jobs:

Foreign Language Teacher

Digital Copywriter

Lexicographer

Marketing Executive

Public relations officer

Publishing copy-editor/proof reader

Secondary school Teacher

Speech and Language Therapist

Teaching assistant

No matter where you choose to study you should be able to be a speech and language therapist!
Good luck in your academic journey!
Hope this has helped!
