Which medical school to apply to please

Hi all,

Please help. My son is heartbroken over his UCAT score. Think nerves got the better of him.

UCAT Score - 1730 SJT band - 2

GCSEs
Triple Science - 9, 9, 9
English Language - 8
English Literature - 7
Maths - 8
Ethics - 9
Business Studies - 9
History - 8

Predicted A Levels - Biology A, Chemistry A, Psychology A

Work experience - has volunteered for x3years 1-1 tutoring sessions to help support his autistic cousin.

His dream was Nottingham University and he has decided to keep them as an option and pray his high grades in GCSEs get him in.

We are now torn on
1) Keele 2) Aston 3) Sunderland 4) Cardiff

My head is overwhelmed with researching the ins and outs of these Universities. Can anyone please give advice on best options considering his UCAT score.

Please note my son is a Contextual Student ❤️

May i add if he meets the contextual requirements for most universities he has a much higher chance as they could even reduce his grade and ucat requirements.
