want to become a paramedic for the nhs but struggling to get my level 2 maths

Hello everybody my name is Danny and i am from Manchester area (UK). i am 24 years old and wanted to become a paramedic for the NHS and the ambulance service since i was a child. I currently do Auxillary nursing within the NHS but progression is getting me nowhere and i need to better myself by becoming a paramedic. I have done 4 years in health and social care at college, achieved 120+ ucas points, achived my level 1 and 2 functional skills English and Level 1 Maths but C ANNOT get my level 2 and it is starting to get me down an awful lot.

if you know any universitys that will accept all i have achieved to become a paramedic i will be greatly appreciative.

Call the unis you would consider applying to and ask them about the entry requirements. They are sometimes more relaxed about entry requirements for mature students and your NHS work experience will be a big plus. Also contact your local ambulance trust to see when they advertise apprenticeships and ask what qualifications you need:
