Imperial biochemistry

Could I get into imperial to study biochemistry with grades A*A*B (in maths, chem and bio), given that everything thing else is excellent?

Not an expert per se on Imperial admissions, but when I did a summer school there they were very blunt about how strictly they follow the minimum entry standards. For biochem, that's AAA. Don't take my word for it and definitely seek a second opinion, by I don't think it's likely to get in with a B even if the others are A*. Imperial's courses are massively oversubscribed - the ratio of applications to places for biochem was 10:1 last year, so they are very careful when giving out offers and they have a large pool to choose from. Your application may be good but with so many other applicants it's inevitable someone will have that A you're missing.

Again, be sure to double check as I'm far from a perfect source of information. It might be an idea to email Imperial to get a direct response (though they may be too busy to respond and may not want to answer requests like that - they do tend to be quite testy in that regard unfortunately).
